irritible bowel syndrome?

every time i am really upset/sad or nervous/anxious about anything my stomach gets into knots and i almost instantly get the runs…is this IBS and can i do anything about it?

well it could be IBS or just something that happens from your nerves. I have suffered IBS for many years and I’ve used every med over the counter or prescribed and the best thing so far for it is activia yogurt or the phillips colon health. But if its from your nerves these things wont help. You would have to go to your dr. about it being caused by your nerves. good luck
